June Garcia has 40 years experience as a public librarian.  Her experience includes six years as director of an urban library (San Antonio Public Library), twelve years as the administrator of a branch library system (Phoenix Public Library), and five years as a branch manager.  She has served as CEO of the CARL Corporation, and as Vice President and Chief Ambassador of TLC/CARL.  For six years, Ms. Garcia was a managing partner of Dubberly Garcia Associates, a broad-based consulting company serving the library industry.  Since 2008, she has been sole proprietor of June Garcia LLC providing consulting services to libraries and the organizations, associations, and companies that serve them.

Susan Kent has more than 40 years experience in public libraries. Ms. Kent is the Managing Partner of S. R. Kent, LLC, and serves as an independent consultant for libraries and nonprofit organizations in the areas of strategic planning, capital facilities planning, financial development, management and organizational development and leadership development and training.

Prior to starting S.R. Kent LLC in 2008, she served as the Director and Chief Executive of The Branch Libraries for the New York Public Library where she was responsible for the operation of the 87 branch libraries. From 1995-2004, she was the City Librarian for the Los Angeles Public Library, a library system that included a Central Library and 71 branch libraries and which underwent massive facilities infrastructure improvement program with 62 completed new or renovated branch libraries.  She also served as the Director of the Minneapolis Public Library.
